YouFIX Service Receiver Agreement

Legal Information & Policies


This Service Receiver Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the YouFIX platform as a service receiver (“Service Receiver,” “you,” or “your”). By creating an account, posting a project, accepting a bid, or releasing funds, you agree to the terms below.

Platform Role & Acknowledgment

YouFIX is a marketplace platform that connects service receivers with independent service providers.

  • YouFIX is not a contractor, employer, or service provider.
  • YouFIX does not perform, supervise, or guarantee any services.
  • All service agreements are entered directly between you and the service provider.

You acknowledge that YouFIX’s role is limited to facilitating connections, messaging, escrow payments, and dispute mediation.

Project Posting & Accuracy

When posting a project, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and honest information, including:

  • Scope of work
  • Location and site conditions
  • Timeline expectations
  • Budget or pricing constraints
  • Any known risks or limitations

Misrepresentation of a project may result in disputes being resolved against the service receiver.

Bids & Acceptance

Service providers submit bids based on the project details you provide.

  • Once a bid is accepted, the quoted amount becomes the maximum project value unless otherwise agreed in writing through platform messaging.
  • Any changes to scope, pricing, or timelines must be documented within the platform.

Payments & Escrow

  • All payments must be made through YouFIX.
  • Accepted bid funds are placed into escrow and held until project completion.
  • You agree not to send or request payments outside of the YouFIX platform.

Circumventing escrow may result in account suspension or termination.

Project Completion & Approval

Once notified that work is complete, you agree to review the project promptly.

  • Approval confirms that the work meets the agreed scope and standards.
  • Once approved and funds are released, the transaction is final.

Failure to respond within a reasonable timeframe may result in automatic approval and release of funds.

Refunds & Disputes

Refunds are governed by the YouFIX Refund Policy.

  • No refunds are available once a project has been approved and funds released..
  • Dissatisfaction alone does not qualify for a refund if the work meets agreed standards.

If a dispute arises:

  • YouFIX may act as a neutral mediator
  • Decisions are based on documented platform records
  • YouFIX’s maximum liability is limited to the quoted project value

Service Receiver Responsibilities

As a service receiver, you agree to:

  • Communicate honestly and respectfully
  • Respond in a timely manner
  • Provide reasonable access to the project location
  • Ensure the work environment is safe
  • Obtain any required permits, approvals, or permissions

Conduct & Communication

  • Harassment, threats, discrimination, or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited.
  • You agree to receive direct, uncensored messages related to bids and project communication.
  • Violations may result in suspension or permanent account removal.

Independent Contractor Relationship

You acknowledge that:

  • Service providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of YouFIX.
  • YouFIX is not responsible for licensing, insurance, taxes, or labor compliance.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring work complies with applicable laws and regulations.

Limitation of Liability

  • YouFIX is not responsible for property damage, personal injury, delays, or workmanship.
  • YouFIX’s total liability is strictly limited to the project quote amount.
  • You agree to release YouFIX from claims beyond platform mediation.

Account Suspension & Termination

YouFIX may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraud or misrepresentation
  • Escrow bypass attempts
  • Policy violations
  • Abuse of dispute or refund processes

Agreement Acceptance

By using YouFIX as a service receiver, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have read and understood this Agreement
  • You agree to comply with all YouFIX policies

Changes to This Policy

Our platform reserves the right to amend this Service Receiver Agreement at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting, and continued use of the platform after modifications implies acceptance of the new terms.
